Starbuck's spends more money on health care than on coffee. General Motors spends more money on health insurance than on steel. 700,000 people go bankrupt every year because of medical bills. America spends 15% of its gross domestic product on health care. that's nearly 3 trillion dollars a year. Yet, 100,000 people die every year because of medical mistakes and America has the worst infant mortality rate in the industrialized world.
